Welcome To Pets R.I.P
Welcome to Pets R.I.P Toowoomba & Ipswich, a family business owned and operated by Beric and Sue Lees. Our specifically designed and engineered Pet and Equine Crematorium was established in 2010. Prior to this, nowhere in Eastern Australia was equipped to handle the cremation of both small pets and large pets (such as horses). Our dedicated team of staff are available to assist families from all areas of South East Queensland including (but not limited to) Toowoomba, Ipswich, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Lockyer Valley, Southern Downs and Granite Belt, Western Downs and Goondiwindi. Pets R.I.P are also available to service as far as Charleville to the West and the South Burnett to the North as well as the Sunshine Coast, Caboolture, Kingaroy, Nanango, Dalby, Roma, Goondiwindi, Stanthorpe, Warwick, Beaudesert, Laidley, Gatton and Esk.
Beric was born and bred on a sheep property near Cunnamulla in Queensland. He became a Funeral Assistant in Miles, Queensland and has now been a human funeral director for 20 years and pet funeral director for 11 years. Beric owned the human funeral business and Monumental Masons at Casino, New South Wales. Beric comes from a long line of Funeral Directors. His great uncle was the first Funeral Director in his family before and during the great depression. His parents were both Funeral Directors at Dalby and this complimented Beric’s interest.
Both Beric and Sue have always loved animals and the joy they bring into our lives. They have pets of their own who are treasured members of their family. Sue also provides much needed care to our precious wildlife.
