You sat beside me during my darkest hours. When I most needed a friend, you never left my side. You fearlessly and selflessly protected my home and my daughter. You were my friend and my companion. You taught me to be a better person. Now you’re gone, and there’s a big empty hole in the world. I don’t know what I did to deserve to have you in my life, but I’ll be forever grateful for the years we spent together. Rest easy big fella. Your journey is over.
