I loved running around the garden Doing speeds near 45 I loved the wind in my fur It was great to be alive I had a trick to score a treat I annoyed them with a whine They only got the best for me The jerky tasted real fine My coat kept me very warm When winter came along i lay between the humans Where I slept all night long My breakfast was a lap of milk And treats that cleaned my teeth I always loved dinner time My bowl filled with stuff like beef Don’t come into our yard If you’re fluffy like a cat As we will chase you out And that is truly a fact I hung around at dinner time Expecting morsels of food I stood back from the table I was never pushy or rude I loved when visitors turned up For no one I could hate And when they started chatting I would boldly join the debate I loved to go on car drives And watch the changing scenes And if you have a moment I will tell you where I’ve been Once a year they took me to the vet It really was a trial A thermometer got shoved up my bum I didn’t like their style My life was fun and simple No need for worry or stress My life with these loving humans For a dog was simply the best Patrick Heffernan. It is with a very heavy and saddened heart that myself and Hayden have had to make the extremely hard choice to put Zena down today due to extensive neurological problems that were causing her a lot of pain, it has been a very emotionally and physically draining few weeks as we tried our very best to help her and nurse her back to full health but we were unsuccessful in doing so, she will be remembered as the cute little bundle of joy that she was and the happiness that she brought us, even during the darkest hours, she was always a spark of joy in our lives.
Much loved part of the family, taken way too soon. We hope you’re chasing as many mail man as you want in heaven and eating all the food you loved. It’s hard to think of the good times when all we can remember is the day you passed. But we will always remember you. We hope you’re at peace CC and you enjoyed the life you got to spend with our family. We love and miss you xo

Our precious Duchess. From the moment we all seen you we knew you were meant to be apart of our family. In the short 17 months you were here with us you made a massive impact on our family especially your best mate Caleb. He is lost without you and we will never forget your beautiful, loving, playful nature. We will never forget you waiting by the fence at 3pm every day for Caleb to get home and go and play with you, it was the first thing he wanted to do when he got home. Home is definitely not the same without you here. Your sudden new journey over the rainbow bridge has broken our hearts but we no you are up there with our loved ones watching over us. Fly high beautiful we will never for get you.
