Kenny

Kenny the Cattle Dog 4th July 2001 – 16th April 2016 Kenny ( Blue Dog ) was adopted by us from the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge when he was four years old. We chose him because of his cheeky, posed smile that he had in the photograph on their website. We drove up from Ipswich to collect him and, on the way home, we called into a pet shop to buy him a bed and dog mat and all the other stuff that dogs need. When we tried him on his cushioned dog mat, he wouldn’t get off so we had to drag him around the store until we got to the checkout. We gave him his first hydro bath that day – which he hated. He was a terrific dog to have in the family – very loyal and very protective of Trish and our / his property. He loved his walks around the streets and parks of Ipswich, his swims at Moogerah Dam and Fingal Beach and loved chasing his football. Every afternoon between 5.00 and 6.00 pm was family time in the backyard with Kenny – having a beer and throwing or kicking his ball with him. About 12 months ago, Kenny developed Cushing Syndrome and that slowed him up a bit and, more recently, his back legs went on him as did his eye sight and hearing. We did the humane thing and had Kenny euthanised at the Booval Vet Hospital on Saturday 16th April followed by a cremation at Pet R.I.P in Ipswich. It was a very difficult decision for us to make as Kenny loved us dearly and will be sadly missed by us. Nothing can change the experiences that we shared with Kenny. The past is secure and cannot be changed by time or circumstance. We are so grateful that we were able to be a part of Kenny’s journey through life. Not the least hard thing to bear when they go from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives – John Galsworthy Rest in Peace our Kenny.

Helia

We would like to thank Dr Tim from Yamanto vet for treating our girl with such compassion and treating her with dignity in her time of passing on. But we had to make the decision to put her to sleep after a short six month illness. Hellia blessed our lives for just about 12 years and had a beautiful nature but also protected us. Thank you Hellia girl for blessing our lives. Also thanks to Beric and his wonderful team for helps us with our time of grief.

Jessie Matruglio

To Our beautiful baby bear Jessie, from the day you picked us at the rescue center you won our hearts. You were always so loving and happy, you never misbehaved and never whined.I still remember the day that Christian,Sabrina and me took you home in our van and you were singing to the Beatles songs I had playing,I remember the days that you could fit in my hand bag and come around with us. You were always so happy.I didn’t know it was possible to love another like we loved youI remember the day we went and got Bobbie to keep you company, you treated him with love and kindness from the very first moment. You shared everything with him, you were never jealous of our affection to him.My heart broke in two every time you had those seizures. The day you left us was the saddest day of our lives,I hope you are pain free now. Your brother Bobbie sat by you until they came and took you away and is missing you terribly. We love you Jessie now and forever. We miss you baby bear, especially me sweetheart. Mummy,Daddy,Christian,Sabrina and Bobbie love you so much but you will always be in our hearts.

Reggie

We are left heartbroken having to say our final goodbyes to our little mate Reggie. Having had a rough start to life he came to us a little battered and bruised but still charming, funny and so full of life. The day we took Reg home we knew that we were blessed to have him join our little family and share his love with us. Reg was such a beautiful boy and after nearly 15 years he deserves eternal happiness. We will miss you little mate xoxox.

Beam

My Puppadog, my teddy bear, my boy, my bestfriend, my protector. Beam was so smart from the day we brought him home from the rspca at 6 weeks old in 2005 I was astound at how smart a dog could be, I had never seen such a thing in any puppy or grown dog. He has always been a mummy’s boy and would always be by my side, he would comfort me when I needed it and protect me when I needed it. The amazing personality he had was one of a kind he could make any person love him no matter if they hated animals or had a fear of dogs. He is a beautiful old soul that no one could ever forget and left many heart broken. To my best friend who actually stuck it out to the end with me and loved me unconditionally, you have taught me so much and will forever be in my heart. I promise to look after Cougar and make sure she is never lonely. Rest In Peace my old boy.

Roujar

He was my first ever pet, he looked after his little brother like a human, on the outside he was a big goofball, on the inside he was a little old man. I am going to miss him every single day, I cant get used to the feeling of not seeing him everyday! Going to miss you buddy xx.

Chelsea

We have lost our best mate far too soon and too quickly, she has travelled everywhere with us around Australia. She will be sadly missed.. Rest in peace sweet girl.

Zoe

Sadly we had to say our goodbyes to our beloved Zoe on 12 December 2016. She was our faithful and loving companion for over 13 1/2 years, always ready to play or go for a walk. She loved going camping and just spending time with us. Zoe has left a big void in our lives but the memories will always stay. Forever missed by her loving human friends.

Tash

Forever loved & missed beautiful girl. Until we meet again.x
